With sadness, we announce the passing of Francesco on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at home at the age of 101. Now reunited with his wife Maria (March 30, 1974). Francesco leaves behind his children Paul and Domenic, as well as brother Arduino (Elmira), nephew Massimo, nieces Paola and Patrizia (Salvatore) and Grandnephew Lorenzo. He is predeceased by his father Paolo, mother Domenica and sister Iris.
Friends and relatives are welcomed for viewing at the Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin Street, south of Lawrence Avenue W.) on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 5 – 8 pm.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Fidelis Church (33 Connie St., Rustic Rd., east of Keele St.) on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Francesco will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge St., south of Hwy. 407)
In memory of Francesco, donations may be made at Heart and Stroke Foundation.
