We are saddened to announce that Dennis passed away in hospital on April 18, 2024, just after his 71st birthday. Son of the late Georges and Myrtle Forget (née Carrington) and pre-deceased by siblings Lynn and Bob. He is survived by his son, Brandon Potter, Brandon’s mother, Charlene, and grandchildren Alex and Avery; siblings Terry and Angèle (Don Barnett); nephews and nieces and great-niece Breanna, as well as cousins in the Carrington and Forget families. Cremation has taken place. In his own words, “Don’t forget Dennis!” and from Brandon, a poem:
Dad
Most of your life you were sad
I finally met you, I’m glad!
You lived a full life, good and bad
Confidence like you were Iron Clad
Now you can rest in peace, after the fun you had
