On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the age of 96, God peacefully called Caterina to eternal rest. Predeceased by her beloved husband Tommaso (December 4, 2013), she will be dearly missed by her children Frank (Bev Davis), Angela (Joe Albanese), and Janet (Mario Tribuzio). Proud nonna of Jerry (Cristina), Tommaso, Caterina (Justin), Liana (Rocco), Alessandra (Derek), Laura (Justin), Caterina, and Cristina and great-grandmother to Isabella, Callum, Grace, and Rocco. Predeceased by her siblings Romana, Giuseppe, Vito, and Raffaele, Caterina is survived by her sister Maria. She will be missed by many other family members and dear friends.
Visitations will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Philip Neri Church (2100 Jane St., south of Wilson Ave.) on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Caterina will then be laid to rest at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St., north of Steeles Ave. W.)
