William Doug McLeod
The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Weeneebayko General Hospital on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by his wife Nellie (Nee Morrison). Loving father Christine (late Bill) and Marilyn (Archie). Cherished grandpa of Jesse, Shawn, Chris, Julia, Terri as well as 5 great grandchildren. He is survived by a brother-in-law Walter, his sister-in-law Marion and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Annie Iserhoff and Fred McLeod and many siblings. The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses including all the staff at the Weeneebayko General Hospital for the excellent care provided. William was a quiet and gentleman and a hard worker. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf and a Toronto Blue Jays fan. When he was younger, he played hockey and baseball. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing and playing the guitar. He first started working in construction for the North Bay Hospital, then worked for Epletts in New Liskeard and finished his career as a finance Clerk for over 40 years at the Weeneebayko General Hospital where he met his lovely wife Nellie Morrison. Cremation has taken place and burial of his ashes will take place at a later date. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE,150 Balsam St. S, Timmins, On
