Raymond Perron
The family announces with great sorrow his peaceful passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Friday, September 27, 2024 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of late Lucie Perron (nee Gagnon) (2008). Loving mother of Nanette (Michel) Martineau of Timmins. Loving grandfather of Eric Martineau (Heidi) of Timmins. Dear brother of Armand Perron (Marilyn) of Timmins. Also left to mourn are his many nieces and nephews and his friend Lucienne Leclair. He was predeceased by his parents Alcide and Jeanne D’arc Perron, his in-laws Sylvio & Therese Gagnon and his sister Denise Duguay (Gordon). Raymond loved fishing and was an avid stock car fan, you couldn’t disturb him while he was watching the race. He enjoyed his morning meeting at McDonald’s with his gang. But most of all Raymond was a great family man, he was an amazing father, grandfather and father-in-law. He was simply the best and will be sadly missed by many. Memorial Service with be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024 in the chapel of the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Deacon Michel Neron officiating). Remembrance donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 10 am until 12 noon on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins, Ontario (705) 264-4444.
