During his tenure at TH&VS, Norm took pride in leading the Tech Club, where he and his students constructed playground equipment for both Hollinger Park and Gillies Lake Park. His passion for photography also shone brightly, as he served as the resident photographer for several years, capturing cherished memories for the school community.
A committed community member, Norm was honored as a Life Member of the Kinsmen Club, recognizing his years of service and dedication to helping others.
