The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Extendicare Timmins on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Carmen Fauvelle (nee Paquette). Loving father of Joanne Tremblay (Donald) and Richard Fauvelle (Kim). Cherished grandfather of Eric & Alain Tremblay and Samantha, Jordyn & late Kyle Fauvelle. Dear great grandfather of Kaidence and Rebelle Tremblay. Also left to mourn are his many nieces, nephews and friends. Maurice was predeceased by his parents Victor and Rosina Fauvelle, his brothers Ernest and Ronald Fauvelle and his sisters Laurette Lessard and Leonie Simmers. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from the chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Deacon Michel Neron officiating). A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to Parkinson Canada or to the Alzheimer Society of Timmins-Porcupine District would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
