C’est avec une grande tristesse que la famille annonce le décès de Laurent le samedi 25 mai 2024 à Extendicare Timmins à l’âge de 86 ans.
Époux bien-aimé depuis 63 ans de feue Annette Veilleux (avril 2024). Père bien-aimé de Laure (Guy) Wong, feue Rose-Marie (Jacques) Chartrand, Lucie (Gaston) Proulx, feu Leo Veilleux, Denis (Danny) Veilleux et Marc (Carole) Veilleux. Cher grand-père d’Allan, Steven, Ian, Ghislain, Marie-Andrée, Eric, David, Danielle, Gabrielle, Isabelle, Christopher et Mélanie. Il laisse également dans le deuil nombreux arrière-petits-enfants, nièces et neveux.
Laurent fût prédécédé par ses parents ainsi que par ses frères et sœurs.
La famille tient à remercier le personnel du centre de soins de longue durée de St-Mary’s et d’Extendicare Timmins pour leurs soins exceptionnels.
La messe des funérailles aura lieu le mardi 28 mai, 2024 à 10h dans la chapelle de la maison funéraire. It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Laurent on Saturday May 25, 2024 at Extendicare Timmins at the age of 86.
Beloved husband of 63 years to late Annette Veilleux (April 2024). Loving father of Laure (Guy) Wong, late Rose-Marie (Jacques) Chartrand, Lucie (Gaston) Proulx, late Léo Veilleux, Denis (Danny) Veilleux and Marc (Carole) Veilleux. Cherished grandfather of Allan, Steven, Ian, Ghislain, Marie-Andrée, Eric, David, Danielle, Gabrielle, Isabelle, Christopher and Mélanie. He also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Laurent is predeceased by his parents and by his brothers and sisters.
The family would like to thank the staff at the St-Mary’s Long-Term Care Site and Extendicare Timmins for their exceptional care.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday May 28 2024, at 10am at the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 9am to 10am at LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
