Karen Leebody (Allen)
It is with great sadness that the family announces her unexpected passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at the age of 70 years. She was predeceased by her husband Lorne Leebody in 2006. Loving mother of David (Stacey), Chris (Crystal) and Heidi (Dan). Cherished grandmother of Ian, Alex, Chad (Kahail), Olson (Sheena), Meghan, Sydney, William and 5 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Susan (Peter) Delamorandiere, Barbara (Dave) Lefebvre and Darrell Sly (Catherine). She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her fur babies Stan and Baby. Also predeceased by her parents Robert and Goldie Allen.
Karen was a person with a large loving heart. She was always willing and ready to help someone in need. She took care of others before herself. Her Lakeview family will be at a total loss. Karen worked at Tim Hortons for 22 years. Her family was her number one priority and she was the most dedicated grandmother.
The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 3-5 pm at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home. In her memory, remembrance donations to the South Porcupine Food Bank would be appreciated. A private burial will take place at a later date. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S, Timmins, Ontario.
