It is with broken hearts that the family announces the unexpected passing of John Antonello surrounded by his family at the Timmins and District Hospital on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the age of 88.
Beloved husband of 62 years to Kasimira (Kasa) Antonello. Loving father to Dina (Santo) Cucullo, Christina Antonello and Angie Merenda (Romeo). Cherished Nonno to Matthew Cucullo (Renee) and Adam Cucullo (Payton).
Dear brother to Emilio (Sandra) Antonello and brother-in-law to Orest (Pauline) Lawryniw. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins whom he adored.
John was a man of faith. He was a true example of Christian love which he gave and demonstrated with his friends and family. John had a passion for sports and was always known as the life of the party.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 7, 2024 from 4p.m. to 7p.m. at LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. A funeral mass will be held at 12 p.m. (noon) at Sacred Heart Church followed by the interment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to Sacred Heart Church would be greatly appreciated.
