Gerald spent many years in Haileybury, where he owned the popular restaurant Peter Pan, then moved on to work at the Temiskaming Lodge.
He loved gardening, playing cards, cooking and quilting. He was a child at heart and often could be found dressing up for Halloween, playing Bingo and decorating for events at Spruce Hill Lodge. He absolutely loved St. Patrick’s Day! He knew how important it was to be yourself and treasured his time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed, but after a few difficult years struggling with his health, he is at peace.
“Odd things happen to all of us on our way through life without our noticing for a time that they have happened.”
-Peter Pan
