George was born on September 9, 1967, to George and Doreen LeBrun in Timmins, ON. He grew up in the New Liskeard area and as an adult travelled throughout Canada. George also resided in North Bay, ON and Chilliwack, BC for extended periods of time. George was predeceased by his mother, Doreen LeBrun (nee Piche), his father, George LeBrun, his other father, Bill (Lucky) Wilson, his siblings Shelley LeBrun and Kevin LeBrun and his infant son, Harlan.
He is survived by his daughters, whom he loved with all his heart and soul, Tina-Marie LeBrun of North Bay, Ocean-Sea LeBrun of Kingston, ON, Tenaya Parry-Piche (Ryan Makara) of Kenora, ON, and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Joyce, Damon, Sapphire, Dax, Ayla, Weston and Penny. George is also survived by his sisters Tracy Faulkner (Fred) of Latchford, Lisa Geoffroy (Pete) of Ramore, and Jennifer Levesque (Mike) of Timmins, along with numerous nieces and nephews. George’s stepchildren, who always held a special place in his heart, James Derick of Hope B.C., Maegan Derick of Edmonton, AB and Jackson Derick of Hope, B.C. will no doubt also feel the loss of him.
George was accepting of all and generous to a fault. His mischievous smile was contagious and could brighten even the gloomiest of days. His beautiful, almost translucent blue eyes could provide comfort to anyone, even a stranger, with only a look, no words were needed. He cared so deeply for the people around him and would go to the end of the world for them without having to be asked and without a second thought. He was genuine and honest. George’s passionate, gentle soul made an impact on many lives. He will be forever missed.
In honour of George, do an act of kindness, not just for one day, but every day.
