Obituary for
Alphonse Nault
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alphonse Nault, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us peacefully on November 6th, 2024 at the Timmins and District Hospital. He was 59 years old.
He leaves behind his devoted wife Rachelle, loving daughters Stephanie and Solange and his beloved son in-laws, Eric and Tyler. He also leaves behind his cherished grandkids, Callie, Brooklyn, Hunter and Hudsyn. As well as his sister Claudette (Gil) and brothers Jean-Claude Jr and Réjean. Sister in-laws Rejeanne and Renée (Denis). Predeceased by his parents Jean-Claude Sr. and Annette Nault, his parents-in-law Roger and Rita Riopel and his brother-in-law Ray Riopel. All his nieces and nephews and many dear friends who will continue to honor his memory.
Al was a hard-working man whose passion for his work sustained him for 40 years at Porcupine Advance Printers. His work family, including John, Julie, Sara, Jeanine and Rolly were among those that made the years great. His commitment to his job was unwavering, and he took great pride in everything he did. Above all, he was a devoted father and grandfather, and his family was his greatest source of joy. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
In his later years, Al found peace and contentment at the lake, where he spent many summer evenings kayaking along the quiet waters, listening to the loons, and exploring the nearby creek. These peaceful moments in nature, surrounded by family and friends, were some of his happiest.
Al will be remembered for his strength, his unwavering work ethic, his generosity of spirit, and, most of all, for the love he gave to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank Dr. Chris Loreto and the Emergency Room staff for the care Alphonse received.
Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 6-8 pm at the Miron-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins. To make online donations or condolences, please visit www.mironwilson.com
