We are deeply saddened by the passing of Michael Anthony Horton, in his 55th year at St. Thomas Elgin-General Hospital on October 13th, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife Lesley Mabee and his children Jennifer Horton (Andy), Jonathan Horton (Shannon), Johnathan Bowerman (Tiffany), Patryce Bowerman, George Bowerman (Tasha), Andrew Bowerman (Aerica) and Dan Bowerman-McClinchey (Rebecca). Dear brother of William Horton (Donna) and his father William Horton. Also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews Predeceased by his mother Darlene Horton, sister Cindy Mudge, nephew Joshua William Horton, uncle Garry Brandon and his mother-in-law Sheila Mabee (2023). In keeping with Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Port Burwell Legion. Memorial donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by the Horton family.
