STOLK “John” Jan Eliza (May 10, 1945 – April 14, 2024)
Passed away, peacefully in his sleep, on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, “John” Jan Eliza Stolk a resident of RR2 Vienna at the age of 78. Bornin Naaldwijk, the Netherlands. John will be remembered as an amazing brother to Margareth (Pete) and an amazing uncle to children: Candace (Derek); Shawn (Kristine) and Collin (Diane). John was a dedicated employee of Stelco Hilton Works, Hamilton for over 30 years. John was a member of the Port Burwell Royal Canadian Legion. John was predeceased by his wife Cindy Stolk (July 27, 2022). Survived by his children: Marianne (Neil), Burlington; John (Darla), Nova Scotia, by his 5 much loved grandchildren, as well as by and great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by his parents: Jan Stolk Sr. and Adriaantje (Zeelenberg) Stolk and an infant niece Kassandra King (August 8th, 1990).
In keeping with John’s expressed wishes, only cremation has taken place.
