It is with profound sadness, after a lengthy battle with illness, that we announce the passing of Claudette Cecile Trepanier of Tillsonburg, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the age of 88 years. Loving wife of 68 years to Marcel. Very caring mother to Lynne Sheppard and her husband Neil; Claire Trepanier and her husband Brad McLellan. Claudette was a proud grandmother to Katharine Sheppard; James Sheppard; Lana Sheppard and Matthew McLellan. She was a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews. Claudette was predeceased by her parents Aime and Lorette Gosselin, siblings Fern Gosselin; Lorraine Barbe; Cecile Forestell and Patricia Evershed.
Cremation has occurred in accordance with Claudette’s wishes. The family will host a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Tillsonburg on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 11:30 am followed by a gathering at the Carriage Hall, Tillsonburg. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and can be done directly with the charity or by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home Limited, Tillsonburg who have been entrusted by the Trepanier family.
