Mr. Franco Fortier, age 46 years, passed away unexpectedly in Sudbury, Ontario on Friday, May 17, 2024.
Franco was born in British Columbia on June 12, 1977. His main passion was motorcycles, and he enjoyed riding them as well as fixing and working on them. He was most proud of his son, Jesse Franco Bell, and time spent with him brought Franco the greatest joy. He will be truly missed by all of his family and friends.
Franco is survived by his son Jesse Bell; his father Franco Persichino; mother Kathy Belanger (nee Fortier); brothers Gino Fortier and Joe Raiche; aunt Antonia (Gerry) Cervi and uncle Alessio (Nancy) Persichino as well as other aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Pasquale and Giuseppa Persichino as well as extended family.
Funeral Services for Franco will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 11:00am in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Franco to Shelter House Thunder Bay would be greatly appreciated.
