Alice Cousineau
Alice Cousineau passed away on September 20, 2024 at TBRHSC at 94 years old. She was born in Thunder Bay to Hans and Marie Christensen.
She lived her early years in Pass Lake. Alice learned to speak Danish which came in handy when she travelled many times to Denmark.
The family moved into town, eventually ending in Westfort. She attended Crawford School and FWCI. She met and married Pat Cousineau.
They had a daughter, Eileen.
She worked for McDonald’s Consolidated for 37 years. Alice was Secretary of the Safeway Employees Association for 21 years. She was very active in the Credit Union movement for 40 years.
Golf, bowling and curling, crafts, puzzles and scrabble were her hobbies. Alice loved her home on Gore Street, especially her garden. Her raspberry jam and hand knit socks are loved by many.
Alice is predeceased by her sister Annie, her parents and husband. She is survived by her daughter Eileen and relatives in Denmark.

Donations to the Humane Society or Hospice North West Services are greatly appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
