Sara cherished her time with family and friends. She loved outings and catching up with friends and reminiscing over the silly things they used to do! Sara loved camping and sing along time around the campfire. She’ll be missed by the August Long weekend crew. She was an avid Blue Jays fan loved to watch movies. She loved telling stories about her pups. She was a passionate story teller and knew the lines to every 80s movie. She will be greatly missed by her girls and so many friends. She was an avid cheer leader for her nieces and nephew.
Sara was a caring nurse to so many. She brought joy to residents and her colleagues at the Sunshine Centre at Lutherwood Village on the Park. Sara spent most of her life taking care of others. She always found a way to share a laugh and brighten their day.
A special thank you to all of the Doctors, Nurses and various care teams who helped her on her journey. She was grateful and appreciated all that you did for her. The jokes and smiles at every step helped her manage through the process and find hope.
Cremation has taken place. As per Sara’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral. Always thinking of others, her ask is that you share a kind deed, make someone laugh or do something fun in her honour.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be accepted to Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth and London Regional Cancer Program (LRCP) Metastases Research in Breast Cancer and can be done through the funeral home.
