Obituary
Marilyn Isobelle Murton (nee Horne) passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday November 3, 2023.
Beloved wife of the late Ronald Murton. Sadly missed by her two sons Peter and Matthew (Yvette) and her three grandchildren Emma Bayers, Connor Bayers, Tessa Murton.
Marilyn cherished her memories of family times on St Joseph Island and times with friends both in the teaching community (Marilyn taught kindergarten before the boys were born), the farming community (where she and Ron were active) and at Harrowsmith Free Methodist Church.
Marilyn loved helping people, especially children and has blessed every life she’s touched.
A special thanks to the folks at Kingsdale Chateau who helped make the last few years extra nice for Marilyn and her cat George.
The family will receive friends at Harrowsmith Free Methodist Church on Friday November 10th from 6-8 pm and Saturday November 11th from 10-11 am. Service to be held at 11, with a reception following.
Donations can be made in her name to Harrowsmith Free Methodist Church. 3876 Harrowsmith Rd, Harrowsmith, ON.
