Suddenly at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Friday December 22, 2023. Sylvia Maki, beloved wife of the late Edward Maki, was in her 83rd year.
Dear mother of Bill (Shannon), Jim (Sharon), Andy and Nancy and the late Sheila Maki.
Proud grandmother of Dylan (Nicole), Meagan (Kenny), Brandy (Kyle), Jed and great grandson Wesley.
Sister of Bob, Carolyn, Mark (Anna) and the late Maryne.
Sylvia will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends.
The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls on Wednesday December 27, 2023, from 6 to 8 pm. A service to celebrate Sylvia’s life will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 am on Thursday December 28, 2023, with Vicky Roeder-Martin officiating.
Spring interment in the Sprucedale Cemetery.
