Passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, he was in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Doris Langford (nee Woodruff). Cherished father of Herman Van Daalen (Lesley). Proud grandfather of Troy Van Daalen, Kimberley Serson (Cory), Mark Brown (Jen), Scott Brown (Dominique) and great-grandfather of Emerson Galloway, Kallen & Casey Serson, Henry & Jack Brown. Sadly, missed by his special friends Peggy McDonald & Grace MacDonald (Derek) and the late Isabel MacDonald, Barb & Gary Johnston, Valerie & Barney Herring and the late Bill & June Fleming. Heinz blessed the hearts of Doris’ family and all who knew him. The family would like to thank everyone at the Magnetawan Fire Department for all of their efforts and support over the last couple of months.
Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. Family will receive friends at the Knox Presbyterian Church in Magnetawan on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Steven Smith officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Opatovsky Funeral Home- Dempster Chapel.
