Peacefully at home with his wife, daughter and best friend Bear by his side on Friday, January 19, 2024. Survived by his beloved wife Catherine Visser (nee Synnott). Loving daughter Kimberly and loving grandchildren Austin, Natalie, Cooper and his buddy Bear. Predeceased by his father Klaas Visser (1959), survived by his mother Janet, sisters Anne and Mary and brother Bill. He will be missed by many other family members and great friends.
A special Thanks to Dr. Rebecca Kent and registered nurse Norma Connolly from Hope Huntsville Palliative Care Team for all their help. Thank you to Jessica the nurse from Care Partners for all her visits and help taking great care of John. Also a Thank you to Kathy & Kirsta from Community Paremedics for their great job tending to John.
Family will receive friends at the Opatovsky Funeral Home- Dempster Chapel on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m.
