It is with a heavy heart we announce that Yvette Espaniel passed into the spirit world on
April 2, 2024. She went peacefully and in the comfort of her home in Sudbury. Yvette was a mother, a sister, an auntie, a friend, and a grandmother. She was a loving mother to Dale, Todd, Troy, and Darcy. A wonderful, playful grandma to Taylor, Madison, and Montana.
We know she was welcomed to the spirit world by her son Darcy, her siblings, parents, and many other ancestors.
Predeceased by her son, Darcy; siblings Irene, Archie, Kenney, Rene, and Doug and parents, Susan, and Jimmy Espaniel. Survived by her dear sister Shirley and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was a proud member of Nipissing First Nation, Garden Village.
Yvette was the first female paramedic in Northern Ontario in the 1970’s. She fought life head on, she was courageous and brave. She had a wonderful sense of humour and was loved by so many. She was a constant inspiration to her three granddaughters, Taylor, Madison, and Montana.
The family would like to thank Bayshore home care for their compassion and kindness.
