who passed suddenly on Sunday, October 1st, 2023
at Health Sciences North in Sudbury.
Beloved husband of Mary Ann Armstrong predeceased. Loving father of Scott Armstrong (Anny) and Chelsea Armstrong. Cherished grandfather of Ella and Ben. Dear son of Theda and Percy Armstrong both predeceased and son-in-law of Joe and Anna Pilotte both predeceased. Dear brother of Gerry predeceased (Vicky), Carol, Danny predeceased, Randy predeceased, Laurie (Dean McKenzie), and Robbie (MarieAnn). Brother-in-law to Raymond Pilotte predeceased. Wayne is sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Wayne was a master mechanic and worked for over forty years at Gardiner Motors, retiring from Doyle Dodge Chrysler in 2017. He worked tirelessly at everything he took on and was always eager to lend a hand. Wayne was known for his sharp wit and humour, but most of all, he adored his family. His happy place was at the cottage, where he created wonderful memories boating and fishing with family and friends. Wayne was a shining light in our world.
