BOUCHARD, Lawrence “Larry” Norman
Lawrence “Larry” Norman Bouchard of Sudbury passed away on September 2, 2024. He was in his 82nd year. Larry is predeceased by his parents David and Blanche Bouchard and his three brothers: Richard, Raymond and James (all of Blind River).
Larry is survived by his wife Theresa Petrenas (of Sudbury), his daughter Enali (Tim) and his two grandchildren, Ryan and Elsa (all of Calgary), as well as many nieces and nephews.
For most of his working life, Larry was a popular, dedicated and respected administrator at Cambrian College in Sudbury. He was a private person who always expressed a genuine interest in the well-being of everyone he knew – colleagues, friends and especially family. He will be remembered as a generous man who was always keen to help others. (Larry and Theresa were always quick to open their home to provide accommodations and support to their many nieces and nephews, as well as College students.)
There will be a gathering of friends and family for an informal celebration of life at the Hilton Garden Inn, 475 Barrydowne Road, Sudbury, on Friday, September 6th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The family would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to the caring and compassionate staff of Sudbury’s Health Sciences North. Should you wish to honor Larry’s memory, please donate to the Larry Bouchard Memorial Award at Cambrian College www.cambriancollege.ca/givetoday or a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to www.lougheedfuneralhomes.
