Florence Elizabeth Watt
Peacefully on November 19, 2024, Florence Watt of Strathroy passed away in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband, Russell Watt. Loving mother of Murray and Sandra of Strathroy, and Diane and Gerry Down of Strathroy. Proud grandmother of Kevin (Susan), Zachary (Natalie) and Justin Watt; and Andrea and Kyle (Jess) Down. Predeceased by her parents and siblings, Jenny (the late Fred) Tanton, Kris Nielsen, Mary (the late Russell) Gilliland, Ellen (the late Harold) George, Betty (the late Melvin) Arnel, brother-in-law John Watt, sister-in-law Evelyn, and brother-in-law Clayton Stevenson, and her granddaughter Jacqueline. Survived by her sister Anna Watt.
Florence’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to all of the staff at Strathmere Lodge for their compassionate care of Florence throughout her stay there.
Visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Sunday November 24, 2024, from 1:00pm until the time of service at 2:00pm. A reception will follow. A private family interment will take place at Strathroy Cemetery.
In memory of Florence, donations may be made to the Strathmere Lodge Auxiliary or to a charity of your choice.
