Obituary
Terry John Crabe, age 73 of Stratford, passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Monday, September 25, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. Terry was very grateful for a life well lived and was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Terry was born in St. Thomas, Ontario. Son of the late John and Joyce (Brown) Crabe. Terry is survived by his true love of 51 years, Dawn (Wilson) Crabe. Proud and loving father of Chantelle and Michael Graham. Loving grandpa of Madelynne and Erika Graham.
Survived by his cherished sister Heather (Crabe) and her husband Dennis Feick.
Terry is also predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Albert and Carolyn (Larson) Wilson.
Terry worked for Ontario Parks at The Pinery Provincial Park for 25 years as a Resource Management Specialist and Park Naturalist. A graduate of the University of Guelph, Terry’s passions included birding, photography, dancing, pickleball and travel. Terry and Dawn retired early and spent 12 enjoyable years full-time RVing across North America.
In keeping with Terry’s wishes, he will be cremated and scattered in a meaningful location. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to “The Friends of Pinery Park” through the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford, ON www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
