Madeline McKay Obituary
Madeline Karen McKay, age 81, of London, formerly of Stratford, passed away at Parkwood Palliative Care in London on Monday, April 15, 2024 with her loving daughter Trish by her side. Born in Harriston, ON daughter of the late Sydney and Charlotte (Wieler) Truman. Loving mother of Trish Self (Jeff Mogk) and predeceased by her son Michael Self (2014). Madeline is survived by her second husband Ken McKay and predeceased by her first husband Ray Self. She will be remembered by her siblings Elaine Bertrand, Sheila Smith and Harry Truman along with her nieces and nephews. Madeline was also predeceased by brothers-in-law Glen Bertrand and Don Smith and her sisters, Shirley Spark and Wendy Truman.
The family would like to sincerely thank all the doctors and nurses from Henley Place Long Term Care Facility and Parkwood Palliative Care, who have been with Madeline on her journey. Your thoughtfulness is very much appreciated.
Family and friends are invited to the W. G. Young Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Avondale Cemetery.
