Linda Margaret Murphy went home to be with the Lord on Saturday June 1, 2024 at the age of 82.
Linda will be sadly missed by her brother Gary Hanstead, her son John Nolan (Lorraine) and her grandchildren Madison Nolan (Alen Chen) and Katie Russell (Jesse). Linda was predeceased by her husband James (Jim) Murphy, her daughter Lori Mae Nolan and her parents William and Dorothy Hanstead.
She is also survived by her nieces Kim Kaitell, Pam Hanstead Berezowski (Brent) and Nancy Hanstead Sehn and her great nieces and nephews, Remi and Julian Kaitell, Chloe and Alexander Berezowski.
Linda was born and raised in Kenora, Ontario. She started her R.N.A career at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora and then having moved to London, Ontario, worked at the London Dearness Home for more than 20 years until she retired.
Her wishes were to be cremated and have friends and family celebrate her and her life as they see fit.
