Helene Reid Obituary
Hélène Reid, age 76, of Stratford, passed away peacefully, with her husband Rodney Reid by her side on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Stratford General Hospital. Born in La Tuque, Québec, daughter of the late Jules and Rollande (Huot) Hallé.
Hélène is survived by her true love Rodney.
She will be fondly remembered by her sister Denise (the late Clément Leblanc) and her much loved nieces Elizabeth (Christian Latouche) and Anne- Marie (Martin Tremblay). She had extra love for Elizabeth and Anne-Marie’s children (Rémi, Jeanne, Colin and Matisse).
Hélène was a traveler. She had many adventures in Europe, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
She was always ready to go out for a meal.
The family would like to extend a large thank you to the staff of the Stratford General Hospital ICU and Cindy/John Steep for their support in this trying time.
In keeping with Hélène’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will celebrate her life in a private service. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Stratford General Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society through the W. G.
