Robert (Bob) George “Daumer” Daum, age 64, of Stratford, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, October 12, 2023. Born in Stratford, son of the late Kenneth and Margaret (Hyde) Daum. Bob was predeceased by his longtime partner Patricia (Bell) Jenson (2001). Bob is survived by his brothers Jim (Colleen), Harry (Linda), Steve, Daniel and Mike. David (Janice) Jenson, Daryl (Aren) Jenson have great memories of Bob and he will be forever remembered as Papa Bob to Rory, Jaeden, Lewis and Simon. Bob’s nieces Kelly (Adam), Jodi (Josh), nephews Jamie, Cory (Danielle), Dan (Erin) and great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins will truly miss him. Bob retired from Fischer Bearing after 30 plus years. He was a member of the ANAF Stratford, played for many years in the crib league, he was a member of the 3:01 club, and he loved his sports, especially hockey. He was a great goalie with the Over the Hill League. And would gladly help any pickup league that required his talent. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St Stratford and to Bob’s Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at the ANAF Hall, 151 Lorne Ave, Stratford, ON.
