Passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton on November 25, 2023 in his 90th year. Born in Hamilton on May 22, 1934, Gerry was the beloved husband of Eleanor for 70 years. He was predeceased by their son Edwin (Ted). He is survived by his daughter-in-law Patti; grandsons Shaun and Phillip (Lindsay); and sister Susan. He was predeceased by his parents Edwin (Ted) and Olive and by his siblings Robert, Donald and Jo-Anne.
Gerry worked at Sheafer Townsend for 35 years and then at Comstock where he retired as a Mechanical/Electrical Manager.
In retirement he loved spending time in Florida and Myrtle Beach golfing with Eleanor and friends.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
