Obituary of George Bell
After a short fight with cancer that could not be conquered, George Bells’ last day on this earth was September 17, 2024, at the age of 79. George was a generous soul to a fault, always more giving than receiving, never judging. He is leaving behind his sister Connie, his partner Eva, his four children Rob, Jeff, Brian and Heather, his grandchildren, step grandchildren, and his nieces Christina and Jennifer. He was much adored by his two stepchildren Marcel and Adam.
George was a brilliant engineer, still working until his illness prevented that. For all of his life he loved flying more than anything. He began flying at the age of 17. During his life, George built one plane and did not have the time to finish the second one. He was a forever curious seeker of an unexamined world as well as spirituality in many forms. George and Eva were privileged to visit many special places around the world, including Machu Picchu, Easter Island, Uluru, Grand Canyon, Hawaii and many other countries.
George will be greatly missed by his family, his circle of close friends and pilots, with whom he shared his great passion of flying. Above all, he will be immensely missed by his partner of 19 years, who was devoted to him until the end.
As Humans and Souls, we
Meet on Earth to learn,
Evolve, play, and grow.
