Angela passed away peacefully in her home on December 25, 2023 with her family by her side.
Loving mother of Wayne (Jane Burgoyne). Grandmother to Sabrina and Violet Ioannani, who had the privilege of her devoted live in company over the last 12 years. Her family describes her as unconditionally loving, sweet and outgoing. Survived by her brother Francis (Kay Kyer) of St. Andrew’s West and one sister Bernadine (Late Jack Kavanaugh) of Niagara Falls and many nieces and nephews.
Angela relocated to Niagara Falls with her husband Maurice in 1970 to buy and operate a motel. They worked as a couple at the flea market and the Skylon. Recently Angela has been an active participant at the Adult Day Program. She loved her family and dogs Max and Pickles
Pre-deceased by her loving husband Maurice Villeneuve and her their son Richard Villeneuve, parents Levi Amell and Ethel Dow, brothers Wilfred (Paulette Poirer), Lyle (Eva Poirier), Albert (Georgette St. Davies), Hugh (Mildred Weslew and Verna Lalonde), Earl (Velma Major and Shirley Dixon) and by her two sisters Rita (Rene Poirer) and Ursula (Gregory Lalonde)
Arrangements have been entrusted to Passfield Mortuary Services Inc. St. Catharines. A Celebration of Angela’s Life will be held January 8th 2024 at the Grantham Optimist Centre 188 Linwell Road St. Catharines, Ontario L2N 6N3 From 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
In Lieu of flowers as expressions of sympathy the family wishes to have donations to the Adult Day program at Linhaven or the CMHA.
