Eagles, Shirley (nee Hopper) passed away peacefully at the Chapman House, Owen Sound, on Sunday October 27, 2024 at the age of 72. Loving mother to Susan and her husband Peter Noe and to Justin Eagles. Proud grandmother of Sydney and Lucas. Dear sister to Linda Hewitson and Carol Metzger and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Ken and Margaret Hopper, brother David Hopper, sister Lenny Doll and brother-in-law‘s Leslie Doll, Denis Hewitson and Wayne Metzger.
A casual come & go gathering will be held at the Port Elgin Legion, 630 Green St., Port Elgin, on Saturday November 2, 2024 from 1 PM to 3 PM all are welcome.
A family graveside service will be held at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Chapman House or to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
