Obituary
Donna Ann Bulina is now at peace in heaven with her husband George and son Andy. Donna passed away on November 11 2024 in her 87th year, surrounded by loved ones.
Donna is survived by her son Bruce, brother-in-law Mike Bulina (Helen) of Calgary, and niece Barb Boulet (Cam) of Calgary, nephews Dan Fryday (Donna Snyder), Dave (Lynn) Fryday of Saugeen Shores and Doug Fryday (Deb Fudge) of Atkinson, NH.
Donna is predeceased by her husband George, son Andy, parents William and Ann Phillips, sister Lorraine Fryday and brother-in-law Bob Fryday.
Donna will be missed by her great nieces and nephews and many great, great nieces and nephews , along with friends from Saugeen Shores and across the globe.
Donna was born in Toronto and met the love of her life at Runnymede collegiate. Here she excelled in sports and as a cheerleader, she cheered on QB George “twinkle toes” Bulina. They went on to be life long partners.
Donna was a devoted Christian who served her church and took pride in helping those in need in her community and around the world.
Donna loved being around the water and her childhood playground at Miramichi Bay where she eventually retired to. Donna and George would travel to Florida in the winters for golf and the beach. She found peace by the water collecting seashells and taking in beautiful sunsets.
Donna was a very kind, giving, loving friend to all, she opened her house and heart to all who would enter. She always took a personal interest in you and your family. She will be remembered for her big smile that was there in good times and bad. That smile gave so much energy to many caregivers over the past two years.
Donna was an amazing wife, mother, caregiver and special friend to those in her life.
Donna will be missed, but never forgotten.
Thank you to the team at Elgin Lodge, the staff at Southampton Hospital, and finally the loving staff at Wiarton Gateway Haven. You all made this last part of Donna’s journey special.
