It’s with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Leonard at home on Wednesday, November 24, 2024 at the age of 59.
Leonard will be missed by his children Leonard Ivan McLelland (Lindsay) and Randeane Florence Mclelland(Jay). .
He leaves behind his siblings ,Lynn (Dan) MacDonald, Kelly (Joe) McLelland, Tim (Laura) McLelland and Kristen (Ron) Doneff.
He will be missed by his grandchildren Meya, Willow and Baby Nora.
Leonard was also an Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Marlene(2023), Leonard sr 2024.
Leonard was in the Navy as a young man and was very proud of this, he would continue his love for ships by working on the ships as a welder.
Leonard loved working on his cars and various other projects at home.
He will be missed by his fur babies Roscoe, Milo,Lily and Popeye where they will greet him over the rainbow.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville and there will be a celebration of life at a later date to honour Leonard . For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Fort Erie SPCA, and would be appreciated by Leonard’s family.
