Obituary of Steven Gerard Day
Jed passed away peacefully at the Perth Site of the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital on October 22, 2024, at the age of 62. He will be sadly missed by his siblings Brian (Barb), Kevin (Terry), Cathy (Stephen McGlade) and Barb Huddleston. Jed will be remembered by his loving friend Robyn Saunders and by his nieces, nephews, great-nephews, many friends and extended family. He was a dedicated employee of Albany International for 44 years. Jed was a devoted Leafs fan and always bet that they would win and loved NASCAR. The family wish to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the second floor at the Perth Site of the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital, along with all the home care nurses for their kind, supportive care.
A celebration of Jed’s life will be held at the Red Fox, 80 Foster St, Perth on Monday, October 28th, 2024 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. In honour of him, memorial contributions to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation – Perth Site or the Alzheimer’s Society of Lanark, Leeds & Grenville would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth.
