August 11th, 1947 – August 1st, 2024
Peacefully, Jeannette passed away at the Perth Hospital, on August 1st, 2024 on her own terms just 10 days before her 77th birthday. She was the beloved wife of Arnold for what would have been 42 years on September 3rd. Jeannette was the devoted mom of Vicky (Kevin Willows), James (Traci) Vandusen and stepmother of Amy. She was the proud “Gram” of Shane (Rebecca), Ryan (Amanda), and Jason (Abbie), and the “Grandma” of Patrick (Tina), Jimmy (McKayla) and Brooklyn. Jeannette was the devoted “GG” to Cohen, Lincoln, Wren, Warren, Crew, Chloe, Iris, Clayton and Mauve. She was the dear sister of Elsie, David (Diane), Harold (Linda), Art, Susan (Ted), Roger (Diane) and Rick (Veronica), and the sister-in-law of Blair (Jane). She is predeceased by her parents Bertram & Lois Lockett, by her mother and father in-law Allan & Lorraine Price, and by her siblings Doris, Edward, William, Robert, Roy, Elizabeth and Joan. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family wish to thank Dr. Cunniffe and the nurses and staff of the 2nd Floor at the Perth Hospital, along with Wheels of Hope for their compassion, care and support.
Friends are invited to join the family for a service to honour Jeannette’s life at Vicky & Kevin’s Home (173 Fallbrook Road Balderson, Ontario) on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 starting at 1:00 P.M. with a celebration of life to follow. In remembrance of her, memorial contributions to Wheels of Hope Lanark County would be appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
