Gilligan, Florence Mary (née Coyle)
Peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 in her 79th year. Florence, devoted wife to Donald for over 59 years. Loving daughter of the late Harold and Leona Coyle. Cherished mother to Harold (Linda Coish) Gilligan, Dawn Gilligan (Jason Curry), and Thomas Gilligan. Loving grandmother of Travis and Justin Freeman, and Jacob, Taylor, and Tessa Gilligan. Great grandmother of Aubrey and Micheal Freeman. Dear sister of Alfred Coyle, and Mary Walters. Florence is predeceased by her brothers Harold Coyle, and Leon Coyle. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Florence’s Life will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 1-5 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion in Smiths Falls. Donations in Florence’s memory may be made to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.
