Preece, Doris Marlene
Peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the age of 75. Doris, beloved wife of the late Jim McRae. Cherished mother to Stanley (Vicki) Preece, Cindy (Ed Dolan) Preece, Christine Preece, and James (Kelly) Preece. Loving sister to Glenna (Tom) Clark, and Charles Rabb. Missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Charles Orre Rabb and Bernice May Cookman, and her siblings William (Teddy), Harold (Roddy), Ola, Mildred, Donald (Donnie), and Murray. Doris will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
As per Doris’ wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Lannin Funeral Home. Donations in memory of Doris are appreciated, and may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Messages of condolence may be left for the family online at www.lannin.ca
