Magill, Doris Christena
Peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Friday, August 16, 2024 in her 87th year. Cherished wife of the late Dick (2021). Doris was the devoted mother to her children Gerry (Carole), and Nick. Loving grandmother of Terryn, Johnathon, Bradley, Melissa, Curtis, and Walker. Forever missed by her great grandchildren Cole, Emily, and Logan. Survived by her brothers Alfred and Cecil. Predeceased by her parents William and Christena Hamilton, brothers Harold, Eric, Herb, Alex, Mel, Lorne, Carl, and Dave, and her sister Wreta.
Doris was an active member of the Eastern Star for many years. A special “Thank you” to the many friends and family for their love and support during this time. Friends are welcome to meet with the family at Lannin Funeral Home on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Smiths Falls. Donations in memory of Doris may be made to the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Smiths Falls or the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.lannin.ca
