Dave passed away peacefully and with friends and family by his side on August 25, 2024 in Carleton Place, Ontario at the age of 71 . Predeceased by his parents Robert and Flora Lawrence and sisters Anne and Cathy. Dave leaves behind his loving children Angie Spence, Ashley (Tommy) Lawrence, Step-Children Carly (Jason) Lawrence, Mike (Leanne) Lawrence, Jodi Lawrence and Grand-Children Ronin, Avery, Jacob, Stellan, Ethan, Theo, Peyton, Ella, and Ben. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Bob (Cheryl) Lawrence, Jim (Debbie) Lawrence, John (Karen) Lawrence and Brother-in-law Guy Boudreault (Donna) and honourary Uncle’s Duane Jones and Chris Chadsey. He will be fondly remembered by Nieces and Nephews as well as Cousins Lisa (Scott) and Greg Lawrence. Dave was a passionate community builder,a poet,a fun loving trickster, and dedicated friend who will be missed by so many. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St N, Smiths Falls on Monday September 2, 2024 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Dave’s indelible legacy will be held in the chapel at Blair & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday September 3, 2024 at 11:00am. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Carleton Place Hosptial Foundation.
