Obituary of Bill White
White, William “Bill” J.
Bill passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8th, 2024 at the Perth Community Care Centre at the age of 82 years. He will be sadly missed by his close family Patricia, Barry and Craig (Megan). Bill was the proud Poppa to Evan, William, Cameron and Jackson. He was predeceased by his parents, Norm and Gwen; his brothers, Jack, Brian “Gus” and Dave; and his dear grandson Avery.
Bill was an active member of the Perth community and an avid sports enthusiast. He spent 25 years serving Perth as a Town Councilor, during which time he was instrumental in the planning and development of the Conlon Farm Recreation Complex. He cherished his time spent with his sons, coaching their baseball teams, watching them play hockey and football, fishing and talking sports.
Family and friends will gather to honour Bill’s life at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West Perth on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
In remembrance of Bill, contributions to the Conlon Farm Recreation Complex or the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (C.H.E.O.) would be appreciated. Cheques for Conlon Farm should be made payable to the Town of Perth with reference by memo to Conlon Farm Recreation Complex.
