Obituary of Makenna Mae Stevens
With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter, Makenna who was taken from us too soon on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the age of 22 years. She brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with her kind heart, radiant smile, sassy attitude, boundless curiosity and independence. Though her time with us was brief, the depth of love and happiness she shared with her parents Josh and Amy, sisters Jaydin and Kiera will forever remain in all of our hearts. Loving granddaughter of Aline Thibault, Maura Dearing and Doug Morrison. Cherished niece of Chris Dearing (Gen), Sherra Dearing and Melissa Thibault.
Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Makenna’s life at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Helen Smith officiating, where everyone is invited to remember a life that albeit short, was truly a gift to us all. A time of fellowship will follow in the Lounge. Memorial donations to MADD Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
