Obituary of James Martin
James “Marty” Martin, a cherished resident of Ridgeway-Crystal Beach, Ontario, passed away peacefully. Marty leaves behind his beloved wife of 42 years, Joyce Martin (Posluszny), his loving children, Clifford Martin (of Gilmore Ontario) and Kate Martin (of Boston Massachusetts), and sister Joan Zubyk (George, of Chatham Ontario). In addition, he will be missed by his closest friends Bryon and Michele Pull (of Ridgeway Ontario), brother in laws Mark Posluszny (Michalene), Gary Posluszny, Carl Posluszny (Michelle), and sister in laws Gail Thompson (Richard), and Lori Posluszny (Randy). Predeceased by his parents Helen and Clifford Martin, and brothers Carl and Paul Martin (Pat).
Marty was the life of every party, bringing joy and laughter wherever he went. He had a deep passion for classic cars, boating, and golfing, pursuits he often shared with his dear friends and family. His infectious spirit and love for life made him a central figure in the community.
Marty’s contributions to Ridgeway-Crystal Beach were immense. He dedicated his time and energy to volunteer work with the Ridgeway Minor Hockey Association, the Bertie Boat Club, and the Crystal Ridge Skating Club. He touched many lives and will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Celebration of life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Marty’s memory.
