Ellison Spence: Violet Adele (née St. Pierre) –
Violet Ellison Spence passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 8, 2024 at the age of 100. Violet was the wife of Kenneth Spence and the late Donald Ellison (1992). Daughter of the late Alfred and Maria St.Pierre. Proud mother of Grace MacNinch, Louise Highgate, Bruce and Andrea Ellison, Sheryl Law and Kenneth and Dale Ellison. Wonderful Grandma to Terry MacNinch (Sharon), Todd MacNinch (Shanna), Brent Smith (Margaret), Jay Smith (Pam), Erin Gott (John), Craig Law (Lindsay), Chad Law (Stace), Amy Thomas (Nigel), Lisa Hickey (Ryan), Stephen Ellison (Sandy). Great Grandma Vi and Great-Great Grandma Vi to many grandchildren. Violet is survived by her sister Ula Boose. Predeceased by sons-in-law Donald MacNinch (2022), John Highgate (2022), Bryan Law (2023) and grandson Chris MacNinch (2023) Predeceased by brothers Jim, Harvey, Henry, Clements St.Pierre and sisters Simone Lucier, Rita Kingston.
A very Special Thank You to Dr. J. Wolting, special nurse Kerri and the wonderful nurses and PSW’s from Bayshore. All of their help and care made it possible to keep our Mom in her own home.
Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will follow at a later date.
