It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Andrew Provost, on October 11, 2023 surrounded by family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
Born in Chatham, Paul was the son of Donald and Donna (née Griffith) Provost.
Paul was the beloved husband to Cheryl Haddock for 38 years.
Beloved Father to Jamie Haddock (Edna), Bryan Haddock (Randy), LuAnn Provost (James), and Paul Jr. Ladd (Tiffany).
Paul will be fondly remembered by all of his grandchildren and one great grandson.
Survived by his mother-in-law Ruthann Haddock and his siblings Valerie Dickau and Patrick Provost.
Paul enjoyed farming and fishing his entire life. It doesn’t matter if you saw him in the field or riding his bike around town, he always had a smile on his face. Paul was not about the bells and whistles, he cared about the small things in life. He was a family man, always putting his children and grandchildren first. The world will now get thinner after losing the world’s best baker.
Donations made in memory of Paul to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
