Obituary of Patricia Horton
Horton: Patricia (née McKeegan)
Patricia Horton passed away peacefully at the Copper Terrace Long Term Care Home on June 25, 2024 at the age of 85.
Born in Detroit, Patricia was the daughter of Jack and Helen (née Dancik) McKeegan.
Pat will be reunited with her loving husband Les Horton (1999).
Her memory will be forever cherished by her siblings John (Lu) McKeegan, Virginia (Duncan) Graham, Mary Jane McKeegan (Derek Parker), Ron (Sharon) McKeegan, Jim (Louise) McKeegan, and Dennis (Barb) McKeegan.
She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
Pat is predeceased by her sister Gail Stewart (2019) and is survived by her brother-in-law Ronald Stewart.
Pat had a passion for travel alongside her beloved husband Les, together they traveled all around the world. Her enjoyment of golf and curling, dedication to bingo nights, and commitment to her faith community all contributed to the rich tapestry of her life.
Family would like to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Tomen and the compassionate staff at Copper Terrace for the support they offered Pat and her family.
As per Pat’s wishes, Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Patricia to the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent would be appreciated by the family.
